KAVOS HOUSE

KAVOS HOUSE

At the port, there’s a pathway circling the water called the “Kordoni“. Walking along it, you’ll see the unique houses and likely run into some local children, who love to fish from the edge of the road by the sea. And of course, you’ll spot cats and kittens hoping to snatch a bite from the catch.

Among these locals, are the sons of Manolis and Konstantina, a young couple rooted in Kastellorizo. They’ve chosen to raise their family here, continuing a tradition that stretches back generations. Drawing from their upbringing in the Dodecanese islands and their experience in tourism, they’ve created Kavos House, a place that reflects their values of community and hospitality.

Nestled between the castle and the port, this house blends traditional architecture with modern comforts. Downstairs, you’ll find the common areas— a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with balconies offering different views. The house also has two bathrooms.

But perhaps the most cherished spot is the small backyard, a favorite of Konstantina’s. It’s a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding on lazy mornings or evenings, adding to the charm of the whole house.

Kavos House is a home, a reflection of their love for the island, standing as a haven of warmth and hospitality for all who visit.
